Theatre of the Ordinary

This project brings a pop-surreal, urban sensibility to painting—staging interiors and crowds as theatrical sets where identity becomes costume. Fashion figures, suited bodies, and oversized, candy-colored “heads” shift the work between glamour and unease, turning everyday social roles into symbols of performance, anonymity, and desire. Saturated color, collage-like juxtapositions, and exaggerated scale create scenes that feel both playful and unsettling—like fragments from a contemporary city dream.
